Q: Do you need a UV nail lamp for the Gel Pen?

A: Yes, the UV lamp is required to dry the UV Gel Polish. 

 

Q: Do I need a base and topcoat?

A: No, the base and topcoat are not required. Our gel pens are a 3 in 1 system; you only need to purchase the color of your choice and the UV lamp.

 

Q: Does the brush dry or harden?

A: No, wipe the remaining polish off of the brunch when you're finished, and it will be ready for your next use. 

 

Q: How do I remove the UV Gel Polish?

A: Our Gel Polish is a soak off so you can use regular nail polish remover, and we recommend using a file to remove the excess gel polish gently. 

 

Q: How many coats do I need?

A: We recommend applying two to three layers and using the lamp to set the polish after each coat. 

 

Q: Do I need to purchase a sheer or matte topcoat?

A: No, our 3 in 1 system does not require a topcoat. You need to select the color you would like in Sheer or Matte finish. 

 

Q: Does the Starter Kit Bundle come with a UV lamp? 

A: Yes, the starter kit comes with everything you need to create the perfect gel nails at home. 

 

Q: Do the Bundles come with a UV Lamp? 

A: Only the Starter Kit Bundle comes with the lamp. For all other Bundles, the UV lamp is sold separately. 

 

Q: Is shipping included? 

A: Shipping is included on orders over USD 50. Shipping is set at a flat rate of USD 6.99 for orders under USD 50. 

 

Q: Do you ship outside of the United States?

A: Yes, we ship WorldWide! 

 

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: Shipping generally takes ten business days from the date you placed your order. However, shipping times may vary, and we recommend allowing 5-20 business days before contacting customer support.

 

Q: If I order multiple products will my order arrive in the same parcel? 

A: We have multiple warehouse locations so some products may arrive separately (including bundles). Please wait for the expected delivery date to receive all products before contacting customer support.

 

Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: We are only able to cancel orders within the first 12 hours after the order is placed. After that the order has most likely been processed and is preparing for shipment or has been shipped. Once this takes effect, it's out of our hands. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we pride ourselves on prompt service and this includes getting your orders out as fast as possible.

 

Q: What Is Your Return Policy?

A: If there’s something wrong with your order (defective product, incorrect order, damaged order etc.), please contact us within 7 days from receiving your order and we’ll be happy to assist you reviewing the case and if it is approved we will be sending a replacement. Please do not return anything before we review the case, our customer service team will review the request and will send further instructions. Merely Modern reserves the right to deny any return request.

 

*You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping charges and 10% restocking fee are not refundable.

 

* Cosmetics are the final sale for hygienic reasons (exception for products that are defective, incorrect order, damaged order etc..)
